Hi I am here as of my love if the Acid Pro software. As you also use Acid Pro when working with Stem breakdowns versions on your YouTube vids. I have used Acid ever since I downloaded acid from a warez site. From version it 2 I purchased every version. Sadly the sale to Magix has meant it has been shelved. I like many have Constant stability issues ever since the Magic Version 8..i just wonder as a User do you have problems? If so what and if not I'm curious to your thoughts on Acid Pro an do you use any other Daw software. Myself Reason has always Been in my studio. Thanks Jim aka looneybinjim. Hey Jim, thanks for reaching out. I love and use Acid Pro on an almost daily basis. I have little hiccups or issues rarely but it happens every once in a while. I use it with all types of vst instruments and do all types of projects probably even more than what it was original intended for. I understand that there are some people that have problems running the software, but if usually comes down to how their computer is setup, meaning how much memory they have to run it and other things like a good graphics card and processor. The other issue I find people having is that they don't erase all previous versions of the software when updating to the next version. Acid is bad about doing that for you and you have to be diligent to do it yourself. I would always recommend the program "Everything" that finds stuff in your registry and look at Acid pro forums to help clean your computer out. So far I've been with Acid Pro since 2.0 and they aren't "shelved" because they got bought by Magix, they were owned by Sony, that rapped the program and took what they wanted, after buying it from Sonic Foundary, the original owners. But Magix is understaffed and not really improving on issue many people have with the program crashing so that's the reason it may not continue on. Sadly. But if I can keep using it and getting it to do what it is doing now and more I'm good and don't need anything else other than improving stability, but I can even handle that right now.
